Poodle, Pomeranian, Pug.  Small dogs that are well-behaved are welcome guests at the Inn at Camachee Harbor, St. Augustine’s pet friendly marina hotel. Oh, and small cats are welcome as well.

If you plan to bring a pet, you must submit a signed Pet-Friendly Policy Contract at the time of reservation.  Our pet guests pay $15 per night.

Just what do we mean by “Pet Friendly”?  As pet lovers, we know that travelling to St. Augustine with pets can be a challenge.  Most St. Augustine hotels won’t accommodate your pet, let alone treat your dog or cat as a pampered pet.  At our friendly marina hotel, we see things differently.  Many of our guests arrive in St. Augustine by boat and a few nights ashore is important to the well being of their pet.  So we treat every friendly pet like an honored guest.

For the safety and comfort of all friendly guests we must enforce a few simple rules:

• Pets can only be left in the room alone if the Front Desk is informed that the guest will be gone;
• Your pet cannot climb on hotel furnishings;
• Your pet must be leashed outside the hotel room;
• Your pet must be 18 months or older;
• Your pet must be fully vaccinated;
• You are responsible for extra cleaning for pet hair and odors;
• You are responsible for any damage caused to the hotel by your pet;
• And, of course you must pick up all droppings on the hotel or marina grounds.
• Excessive barking will not be tolerated.  If your dog barks continuously from 7pm-11am during your stay, and another guest complains, you will be asked to move to a different room, if possible, or asked to leave the Inn without refund.
