St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum

The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime is a staple in the community and a must-visit for beautiful views of Matanzas Bay. Visitors can climb 219 steps up to the top of the lighthouse and catch views of the Bay, Atlantic Ocean, and historic downtown of St. Augustine. 

On your visit here, you can stroll the grounds and take in the sights or go on a "Behind the Scenes" guided tour, which is included in your admission price. This tour is offered from 11 am to 3 pm daily, and it includes the history of the Light Station as well as the preservation and research work that takes place on-site today. Catch one of the specialty tours, including the sunset/moonrise tour, dark of the moon tour, and lens room tour. 

There is also a gift shop open to the public.

Admission: Adults, $12.95, seniors and children 12 and older (must be over 44" tall), $10.95, children under 44" tall get in free but cannot climb the tower
